As a woman of faith, I believe in signs. Especially during difficult times.This was a song or a sign I needed right now. These past couple days have been challenging for me. This year has flown by. There’s two months left until the end of the year and other historical reasons why I’ve been feeling uneasy, sad, full of emotions. I launched a new coffee mugs and other products business online, I have poems sitting my laptop wanting to share to the universe, lonely days creep in, my birthday is next month, bills stacking up, no steady income, but in the mist of all of this, I go back to my faith and currently this song with these profound lyrics. “Don’t underestimate your power, you are stronger than you know, you are stronger than you know.” by James Morisson.
It’s a song called ‘power’. It’s him, the artist, a human being letting his partner know how much he believes in her, how strong she truly is, how much he admires her strength epecially during her struggles. He’s not judging her for her actions or her feelings. He’s just reminding her how amazing she is even in her dark times, she’s still the light he loves.
A simple yet powerful song. I felt that so much when I heard this song. It’s amazing how a song can move you so much when we really take a moment to listen and just be. I believe everyone should know how amazingly strong they are and can be , not just physically but mentally.
