Don’t underestimate your power.
Woman have come a long way with being unvalued, discrimination, racism, under paid, not having rights, and everything else in between.
In honor of International Women’s Day, I wanted to share a poem dedicated to women. I wrote it to inspire women to keep going, keep believing and creating new paths to our future generation.
Women’s Support
Our words matter.
Our actions matter.
Our dreams matter.
We matter.
Embrace your imperfections.
The highs and lows.
Encourage one another.
Be proud.
Continue challenging and loving yourself.
Show courage.
Be bold.
Confident.
Independent.
Speak your truth.
Take that trip.
Run that race.
Start that business.
Apply to your dream job.
Ask for that raise.
Write those books.
Move to that city.
Buy that dream home.
Get that car.
Be in a loving committed relationship.
Start that family.
Take that time off.
Rest.
Reflect.
Refuel.
Say yes to your curiosity.
Cry.
Laugh.
Smile.
Celebrate your victories no matter how small they may be.
Empower.
Continue supporting your tribe of amazing women
because together we are capable of doing unimaginable legendary things
to make a difference to our loved ones, our family, our friends, our children,
grandchildren and to the world.
