I been training for a virtual half marathon in less than 3 weeks. Today was my two digit mile run. I ran 10 miles. They were tough but worth it. It got me thinking as I usually do when I run. I wrote this poem today of what I saw and what I thought. Enjoy and be good to yourselves.

This poem is called: Space

I went for a longer run today.

The weather was cool and sunny.

The waves were calm.

I noticed several homeless people stepping out of their tents.

I thought, “my god, they got the best views.”

Here I was searching for nice spacious home to move.

When all I really need is a minimal place to feel the ocean breeze.

We want more things, but are they really fulfilling our souls?

I been craving my own space not realizing the space is right now.

It’s free.

Immeasurable nature sounds.

Music.

I see joy.

I feel joy.

Available when I want it.

Around a diversity of beautiful humans.

With my family.

Old and new friends.

Love is all around me.
